miss you guys
I know I haven't posted for a while. Been sick a lot and working very hard. When I get on the internet and onto my livejournal it is pretty quiet. Still can't connect with the smial. It
s like knowing all your buddies are at a party and you can't go. I miss hearing all the news as well as the stories.
I've been reading old stories and going back in the Middle Earth News archieve. Lately I have been watching the shopping channels on tv and believe me when I say I have to stop. I bet I spent a hundred dollars last night on jewelry I probably won't ever wear. Anyway that's how bored I get.
In other news, I have started a new position at work. Totally paperwork and to do with medicare. No one wanted it (me included) but my boss said "Tell me what it would take for you to take the job" Well, everyone has their price, and I also negotiated for another week of vacation. That makes me a month a year. I probably will never get another raise either cause I made them pay dearly. Also got to set my own schedule, so now I work 10 hour days 4 days a week. That means I get a 3 day weekend every week, every other week I get 3 and 1/2 days off. Anyhow, if I was gonna be stuck with the job I was gonna wheel and deal. Other nurses were also gonna get a raise too IF I took the job and they wouldn't get a raise if I didn't. That was also something I had to think about.
My grand babies are doing fine. They are so sweet. I am still not allowed to keep my granddaughter, so I make up with it by keeping my grandson a lot. He is our little doll. He keeps me and my husband going.
