That little brat, Katsumi? is really annoying yeah, but I think he will change his attitude slowly (maybe already in next episode because another brat will show up). That nun annoys me more, actually.
I finished reading the manga last night. It was good. To be honest, not as good as Ranma 1/2 or Inu Yasha, but still good and funny. The drama is better so far. XD
I think Kame does a really awesome portrait of Kousaku, because he could turn out real annoying, but to me he's just cute and adorable. (Says the biased fangirl). ^^;
Yeah, I've started doing a synopsis of the whole episode now, as opposed to the short summaries I was doing with YC. Makes it easier to comment on everything as I go along, and just have a few specific sections at the end. I think I'll probably stick with this style now.

Well, I suppose if he didn't have the potential to change he wouldn't keep showing up at matches! Another brat? *wails*
I've never tried Inu Yasha, just Ranma 1/2, but I like the style. I'll keep with the drama for 1PG, though - I don't care for Sister Angela's character design in the manga, and obviously, there is no Kame!

Oh, God, Mec. I love your reviews. They make me chuckle so much. I can't wait for the next one. This show is so much crack, but it's so lovable with such lovely characters, and that more than makes up for it's shortcomings.
Cheers, Tia! I'm glad you're still enjoying them - I figure, I always talk through shows when I watch them anyway, so I might as well entertain other people with my comments if I can.

And the same can be said for Yukan Club, I think! Clearly, I can never review anything that is technically a masterpiece. (As long as I stick to dramas starring Johnny's guys, I should be okay, then!)
askssl I really dislike Katsumi. He just seems to be nasty as opposed to the bitchy boxers who make me laugh. He will definitely have to do some growing up!
I still adore this series. I don't tend to like crack comedy but something about this other than Kame works for me.
I really hope they focus on Kousaku and Sister Angela's relationship and how that will develop because it has the potential to be really interesting. Of course Meisa will have to grow on me a little bit more beforehand!
Your summaries are always so great and thanks for sharing! :)

At least when they're being mean and petty, they don't try to dress it up with soft tones and all. Katsumi's just...I don't know if he simply doesn't realise, or whether it's because Kousaku's just so clueless and only hears what he wants to hear that it doesn't actually matter what he says to him!
Of course Meisa will have to grow on me a little bit more beforehand!
I like the little moments when she has a realisation about something...well..."normal". Like boxing, or when she threw the baseball. And arguing with Kousaku when he wanted to quit.
Great review, - I really enjoyed reading ^__^ It makes me watch it again too, even though I'm still currently exhausted after watching the latest episode!XD
Luckily, Kame makes this all seem cute and funny as opposed to incredibly disturbing - *agrees* - Kame has managed to make his character so loveable and cute that when I'm watching I somehow totally forget that really his behaviour is completely mad *lol*.
Thanks! It's such a tiring series to watch - five minutes of watching Kousaku in hyper mode makes me glad I lie down to watch the show!
In any other character, it would be seriously stalker-like behaviour! All credit to Kame - he doesn't come off as a psycho at all, just incredibly enthusiastic! ^_^
