My parents sent me surprise tickets to China as a birthday gift, so I could finally see them again.

I know I didn't give many of you any warning, really, but they were a surprise. And my parents sent them to me the day before the plane was to leave. I love them a ton, but sometimes my parents don't use any sense at all.

Anyway, China was amazing. I loved finally being able to eat all the foods that I used to love and go to places I remember. And try to speak some Chinese again! I used to have a really good hold on it, but it's gotten a bit rusty. After all, it had been a few years. I left a little before I was eighteen, so about five years. Overall, it was really nice. I didn't have that long to visit, but it was enough.

I could talk about it forever, but I've got more laundry to do. And more packing. Gotta get on my second plane in a few days soon. And I'm barely over the jet lag from China.

Oh God, this will be interesting.

((OOC: Date changed to avoid confusion. Pre-dated.))
