I had to board up my windows on the lower floors in case the snow built up to the point of encasement. Since hot air rises, the upper floors are much more comfortable at this point though not entirely safe.
I won't waste any more of your time since I'm quite sure you have a priority of survival to maintain but if it's too bad to the point where you have to get out of the elements, my door is open to you.

[He didn't feel that an introduction isn't in order yet seeing that he hasn't met this man in person yet and he already was having a grudging respect for this person, it was best to save the small talk for another time.]
