CFUW 99- With George and Takanari

Jun 23, 2009 13:11

Would you like some tea? I thought we should speak to you since I'll know if George is a wolf! And I'm sure he'll know if I am.

-Ah, please. And I suppose I'll just observe, then.

Oh, do feel free to talk as much as you like! I wouldn't want to exclude you.

Well, I don't have too much to say right now. . . What do you think of the ousting?

I think that people voted based on personality, but there was little else to go on so I suppose I cannot blame them.

Right. I don't think that kind of strategy would get us a wolf, though. I guess we'll find out in the end.

Any suspicions about the remaining teams? . . . Or why your team was garnering so much attention?

It's true, but we had no clues.

That surprised me, I must admit! We had one vote before Devit-kun chose the name, as you know. We then received another vote, at which point he decided to vote for Gokudera's team to even the vote and decrease the chance of us going up to vote. I believe that at that point someone thought that someone was trying to protect us, and voted on us to even it again. The fact that there were in fact two teams protecting us is what surprised me. Belphegor's reasons seemed spurious as well. But then with so little to go on even such a small reason can be valid.

Mm.

Well, George and I had decided what teams we wanted to protect-Yours being near the top. We didn't have any clues, like you said, so we just wanted to protect those we could trust as sheep, and those we could trust to know were wolves if they acted out of character for the past round. Now, we'll have a bit more to work on and won't have to rely on those kinds of tactics.

You don't know Bel or Cielo, do you?

Would you mind telling me the other teams you were thinking of?

I'm afraid not. That's what was so surprising to me, but I can see their reasoning.

Debra and Ikki's team. They're friends of mine.

Likewise, but they could have decided just as easily to go with someone else. I suppose it was just that first vote and not realizing it was a mistake. Then, he favored Cielo's team, because they cast a vote on themselves. It's odd. . . They kept wanting to talk to people, but it wasn't people they were close to.

Er, did you mean Serph's team?

. . . Excuse me. You're right.

Perhaps there is no one they are close to that they'd prefer to talk to?

I can understand favouring the team that voted for themselves. After all, it seemed odd to me that a wolf would vote for himself. Gokudera's team may have been put to ousting in order to protect my team, but Dietrich's team was put up because people had personal issues with him. I think both are equally bad ways of putting people to vote.

Well, Gokudera's team went up to ousting for a reason, though. It could have easily have been someone else, so why did it end up being them. That's something to find out. As for voting for themselves, it would be unusual for a wolf, but it would also clear them of suspicion, wouldn't it? So, either they were a stupid sheep or a smart wolf. . . Or the other way around even. You can't tell.

But I agree. You're right-There wasn't much about that ousting that sat well with me.

I believe it was more of an accident than it might have first appeared. They received one vote, and then Devit-kun voted for them. After that it became a choice between the three teams. Really it was only that first vote that singled out Gokudera as the one to go up.

I suppose that either way it is an odd decision. A sheep should want to be ousted just as little as a wolf, and voting for oneself when so many people are already prepared to vote for one is simply self-destructive.

Mm, but who made it?

So, Dietrich may just not have played the game well, or he placed more stock in his abilities to talk his way through a first round ousting.
