I was living in a green country but I took it for granted.
When the industries moved in, I left.
I went to another country.
I renounced my citizenship.
The new country was just as green as the first had been.
Often I longed to go back to the old country,
but I knew it had changed;
it wasn't the same as it was once. I wouldn't fit.
And time passed, living in the green lands.
But with time, the new country grew hostile.
And I was deported.
With nowhere to go.
