(no subject)
I didn't get much for Christmas because a) we are poor and 2) I needed money for London, but I got more than I asked for and I am happy.
Most importantly I got the new Rufus which came with a DVD. I watched it and my dad said Rufus was like Elton John, only not so flamboyant. Daddy dear have you heard the man speak? The first song was in French. My dad translated and I was amazed that he could understand him, not because of the French but beacuse Rufus doesn't exactly pronounce consonants all the time when he sings.
And, by the way, his "Agnus Dei" is freaking phenomenal. I would marry him if he weren't famous, 30, gay, and Canadian. Makes things a little difficult.
Tonight was Mary's going-away party. We played Enlgand Trivia Jeopardy. I was on a team of eight because we can't count, and the other teams had four people. Jesus. The best part though was that Tyler and I had just played Jeopardy on NES a couple hours ago and one of the 1000-pound questions was exactly the same as a question from earlier. It was basically a miracle. Or just a fortunate coincidence. Whatever.
So anyway GOSH I can't believe she is like, going away for 5 months. But, like Angelika said (I think it was Angelika at least)... in five months we can have a welcome home party. Hoorah. Fringe, bangers, lifts, etc.
Isaac got season 1 of Home Movies on DVD. God I freaking love that show. I am gonna go watch it now, and overindulge in junk food because I am happy about nothng in particular. Fack I typed a lot. I probably wouldn't read this much, so I don't expect that anyone else did. In fact, I don't think I will even reread it. Hopefully I didn't say anything embarassing or make any spelling or grammar mistakes. OH POW.
