"Hi, Molls," he said softly, flashing a slight smile at her. He hugged her gently. "How are you doing?"

She hugged him back, grinning. "I'm good. Hungry, but good." She kissed his cheek softly. "How're you?"

He chuckled softly. "Well, we'd better get you fed, then," he said. "Are you ready to go?"

He gave another of his little smiles and gestured her to the door. He touched her arm gently. "You look nice," he told her.

Adjusting the prse strap on her shoulder as she walked out the door, she turned around to bow her head, momentarily looking him over. "You look handsome," she complimented, then with a sly grin held out her hand for him to take.

Smiling shyly, he took her hand in his when it was offered. "Thanks," he said softly. He led her down to his car and held the door open for her. It never hurt to be a gentleman.

He climbed behind the wheel and belted himself in as well. He was a careful driver. Before long, though, he was pulling into the parking lot of the Chinese restaurant at which Molly liked to eat.

He couldn't help but smile at her exuberance. He slid out of the car and circled around to open Molly's door for her, still grinning--and yes, it showed teeth. "I take it this meets with your approval," he said quietly.

Molly unbuckled and slid out of the car, grinning ear to ear. "It does, thank you." She answered. Smoothing down her dress she wrapped an arm around his waist, snuggling against him; mindful of being too close in fear she'd seem clingy, and mindful of being too far away in fear she'd seem disinterested.

"Come on," she urged gently, her grin showing teeth as well. "Let's eat. I'm starving."

"All right," he said, chuckling softly. He led her into the restaurant and let the host show them to a table, where he pulled her chair out for her. Again, he'd been taught to be a gentleman from a young age, and some things just stuck.
