My cousin Dan Ziskin is in town! He's just driving through, but I'm heading out in half an hour to meet him at Waffle House for breakfast.
I'm lying excitedly in bed, waiting for the bathroom to become available, and feeling good about the world. Listening to my daughter maiabee8 animatedly tell alataristarion all about the subdivision board meeting she attended last night. Sounds like they made her treasurer. Sounds like they really need her. She asked what the budget was for 2014, and the outgoing treasurer explained that he couldn't have a budget for next year, how could they know how much everything would cost?
And now the bathroom is available. Hurray, soon I'll see one of my favorite people!
