thank you weather
this week has had the first cancellations of classes at OSU since 2003. i remember it well b/c i had just watched the 300th episode of the simpsons (the first time it aired) when i found out we had no school. jesus that was a dissapointing episode.
the weather saved my ass. being the lazy, procrastinator i am, i haven't started writing my 5 page essay nor have i started reading the 6 journal articles the paper is over. if i had class today, i would not have been able to start this until 5 and the paper is due at 9 am thursday. but now i have all day! let us hope that i do not squander my time. i should be fine, i pulled a similar stunt with the last essay and got an A. i was surprised b/c the professor spent about 20 minutes ranting to the class about how most people missed the whole point of the readings and the essay (which were about local economic development and local dependency).
i almost wish i had gotten a worse grade on it. all the good grade did was reinforce my love and trust of procrastination.
