le sigh, 'tis sad that gulf shores keeps getting blown away by hurricanes =(
oh well, here's what is new in my life: (in outline form because i have a headache and staring at a bunch of actually sentences and stuff just might kill me:
1. i got a job! at a random scrub-store in the mall! woohoo! I'm super-happy about this because:
a)someone would actually hire me
b)my boss sesms super-nice,
c)i'm getting paid almost as much as i do at my job at school (which is pretty frickin kick-ass for here)!
d)they don't ever seem to be SUPER busy, and it's a lot easier to look busy straightening clothes then doing stuff on the computer
e)i'll have something to do this summer!
and it's really cool because now that i'll be getting money, i can take fall quarter off this year, because i have a feeling that i'm going to be up to my eyeballs in art next year in art (which, as bad as it sounds, is really exciting!! but still, up to my EYEBALLS). but i still think i'm going to go back during the winter, since i'm trying to save up so i can to go italy next summer, and since i was being productive last/this week, i've already talked to my boss at school and she says it's all cool! so yay! for ben taking winter quarter off too so she can just go ahead and hire somebody else! woo!
2. I got my wisdom teeth out on friday...so my teeth are quite ouchy...booooo =( but, on the brightside:
a)my dentist was super-nice and totally looked like a cross between ron from harry potter (drool) and some some other random guy
b)they gave me drugs--so that's always nice
c)i get to eat as much applesauce/tomato soup/pudding/mashed potatoes that i want =)
d)maybe i won't stab myself with my teeth anymore! woohoo!!
3. I went to wal-mart all drugged up and with my parents yesterday...and that was really fun...look at all of the crap that i bought:
a)9 super-soft skeins of yarn for 2 bucks each!! and i'm totally going to use them to make an awesome and kick-ass afghan for next year...cuz there's nothin' else to do in huntley =)
---> i've already got a half of a block done! woohoo!
b)3 pairs of flip-flops (for 2 bucks each!!! crazy!!!) apparantly, at wal-mart, i wear a missy's medium =)
c)a kick ass pair of these random flip-flops but with heels things...excellent
AND
d)ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS UNDERWEAR. woot!
4. i'm really looking forward to the harry potter release thing on friday because i'm a super-huge nerd!! woohoo! because:
a)i can act like a 4 year old and nobody will care!!!
b)PRIZES
c)HARRY POTTER AND RON AND NEVIL LONGBOTTOM AND SIRIUS *DROOL*
d)major hanging out with much cool people
e)THE DISTINCT POSSIBITILITY OF S'MORES BEFOREHAND (oh man, i hope i can eat crunchy stuff by friday)
eh, in other news...this summer's not looking TOO bad, now that we got a patio and i can read outside, and now that i have a job and stuff...i mean, it's a job and nobody actually LIKES they're job, but i think it'll be fun/interesting/different and it'll be a nice change of pace and it'll definately give me something to do once everybody leaves for the summer...and money's ALWAYS nice, because i really really, REALLY want to go to italy next summer cuz that would be awesome and i could ACTUALLY SPEAK italian! =)
AND in addtion to having stuff to do this summer, i can actually ENJOY my kick-ass schedule next quarter since i don't have to worry about working...man, earliest class as 1:30 = definately nice =)
anyhoo...i'm still really looking forward to going back to school because i miss the UW and college and people and SEATTLE and hanging out and being random...and all that fun stuff! so yay!! let the countdown begin:
