I am looking for book recommendations. My parents are getting ready for the Christmas shopping and htey need some help. Only, for once, I am hitting a dead in in the book recommendations--and movie recommendations.
Suggestions are very very helpful!
That said:
--I do not read fiction.
--I prefer history, social commentary, especially focused on women and women's issues
--While I really would appreciate gay history books though I doubt my momma's going to get me that for my stocking
--Feminist books are good as well
--Funny is always good
--Political commentary is good but only if it is funny
--I am not afraid of smarty pants scholarly books
Most of you have a fairly decent understanding of me. Recommend away please
