New Year, new discipline

I am going to write regularly. I am going to write about whatever I feel I need to say. I'm going to *think* about a 'proper' blog, but I'll get the 'writing regularly' habit sorted first. I'm probably going to move this away from personal drama and advice, because I'm pretty sure LJ isn't as good a forum for all of that as it was, since I get the feel most people have migrated away from it to other platforms as their primary non-instant communication. Still, I reckon I can at least try and get one post a week up here as some form of disciplined endeavour.

Probable topics and, you never know, tags, are going to be - Running a game store. Knitting. Women and gaming. Painting miniature figures. If I have no choice, then public responses to whatever version of 'Argh, the stupid, it burns' has upset me.
