Lately
Well.. the last week has most certainly been an interesting one.
My favorite manager (the cute one!) walked out today at work. I... suppose I saw that one coming more or less.
As for my actual, personal life, I had a great week. Wednesday I turned 21 and, big surprise, went to Barnes and Noble. I received much love from my friends, and even though the lingering ex-boyfriend pulled out the douche bag card I still managed to have a great night.
Thursday night I actually went out to County Line, used my new powers, got very, very drunk and luckily danced most of it out, so I managed to stand the whole time and not throw up. Lovely!
The next morning I got to baby sit Lily Vanilly and Bellatrix, which was absolutely lovely and fun. Except I was hungover, so I didn't get to actually play with them until 11ish, but after that it was v. v. fun. Lily was enthralled with noggin.com and Bella was busy throwing temper tantrums about not being able to go outside. She was SO cute when she finally mellowed out.
Friday and Saturday things happened, but I don't remember all of what happened... it's Sunday that was awesome.
Molly surprised me with a birthday dinner at Bennigans. She said something about it just being me and her, and whaddaya know, Shini, Kari, and Rene magically appeared too! It was great--I used my powers on a daiquiri and had a salad. I got a tarot reading from Irene which was disturbingly accurate, and then we all retired to Kristin's house for more tarot readings and light conversation.
And Jackie was at Kristin's, which made it all the better. Jackie is one of those awesome people I don't see nearly enough of. I'm hoping to see her, and the rest of the girls EVENTUALLY somewhere in the beach area.
Anywho, I'm due for a shower.
Thanks you guys for that awesome dinner and present! I shall camera-whore my nails when I get them done. Woo!
