What have you recently finished reading?

The Temeraire novels up through Crucible of Gold. Luna finally convinced me to start reading them, and I just tore through the series. So good. Laurence and Temeraire. <3 Granby and Iskierka. <3 Napoleon. <3 Tharkay

"Fifty Plants That Changed the Course of History" sounds interesting. Going to check that one out.

I've also got "Fifty Animals..." and "Fifty Minerals...". I believe there's more to the series, as well. "Fifty Minerals..." was enjoyable. Two to four pages apiece for each chosen subject, good overview of how it affected things. The author did a decent job of not focusing on Western history, I think.
