1. First character I fell in love with: Megabyte. It was the voice, the skill, the villainy, the guitar... He's the one who gave me my obsession with metallic megalomaniacs.

2. Character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Dot Matrix. At first, I just viewed her as Bob's love interest. Then I began to notice how much she actually does on her own. Then along came the end of Season Two and the whole of Season Three. Damn, that woman's got skills, courage, and sheer stubborness.

3. The character that everyone else loves that I don't: I don't think there's any member of the ReBoot cast that I don't love.

4. The character that I love that everyone else hates: Adult AndrAIa. Yes, she and Matrix have issues, but they also work very well together. I don't view her as particularly clingy as an adult. More likely, she's the one supporting Matrix's psyche, not him supporting hers.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: There really isn't any of these. I'm kind of annoyed with Matrix in Season Four, but I don't remember exactly why, so that's no good.

6. The character I used to dislike but don't any longer: I don't think I ever really disliked any of the cast.

7. The character I would shag anytime: Megabyte. *coughs*

8. The character I'd slap: Turbo. You don't blow up systems that get infected with web creatures! You go in there and you kill the web creatures!

9. A pairing that I love: Bob/Dot. It's all Ryuu's fault, but they're just adorably fluffy and actually fit very well together.

10. A pairing that I despise: Dot/Matrix. I know this exists. And I loathe it with every fibre of my being. There is no frelling way this can ever be justified in a fic.

I agree. I think that a lot of people misunderstand her completely and don't see the subtleties. She's vertainly got the strength to survive in her own; we've seen her show her stuff time and again. But why should she want to if she loves Matrix? Loving someone and knowing them well enough to see below the exterior is not a sign of weakness.

Agreed. Despite timeline discontinuities, they are brother and sister. Pairing them is incest, which is nasty.

I don't remember the arguments for why it was wrong of AndrAIa to stick with Matrix, but I do remember that I never liked them. She's not sticking to him, because "he's all she knows" - she's perfectly willing to flirt with Ray, which implies that she gets along fine with other guys.

I could not see her falling apart if Matrix left her. I could see him falling apart if she left him.
