Eeeeee! I went to see on its opening weekend Saturday, and it still fills me with so much glee. Edgar Rice Burroughs's Barsoom series has always been one of my absolute favorite sci-fi adventure stories. I have to confess, your excitement over the approach of the movie led me to buy the first book. And devour it. And watch the movie.

Agreed on all counts- unfortunately, it's sounding like they wasted their 100 million dollar advertising budget and it's a record loss for the studio.

Eee! Apparently foreign releases and disc pre-orders have gotten Disney their money back, so there is room to make a profit and a sequel :D
