Because I don't really have the brains for anything else, though there may be some Barsoom-squee up in here over the next few days.
The books I'm reading: Warlord of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Making Crime Pay by Stephanie Kay Bendel, Oh My Gods: A Modern Retelling of Greek and Roman Myths by Philip Freeman, An Altar in the World: a Geography of Faith by Barbara Brown Taylor, and The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane by Robert E. Howard.
Books I'm writing: uh. Well, nothing is actually being written right now, because the only writing I've been doing lately is RP posts. But I am noodling at a lesbian Greek-myth-style story and a noir angel urban fantasy.
The book I love the most: I do not even knoooooooow. The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley is something I regularly reread. Same with Starswarm by Jerry Pournelle. And I adore ERB's first three Barsoom books so very much.
The last book I received as a gift: Pux got me e-books of the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane. :D
The last book I gave as a gift: Red Harvest, Dashiell Hammett to bookblather. I've been giving out a lot of Hammett recently.
