In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom.
There are so many. I've been in fandom for eleven years now, and there's just so many memories, so many friends. So many things I no longer do, so many people I've drifted away from. So many people I still talk to almost a decade after first meeting them. So many stories I've written.
Wow, let us not continue down this road of nostalgia and angst. Happy memories, Bexself!
- Transformers: Ohayocon. Luna in her Dinobot costume, me in my Deceptibodice, Pepper in her clothes. Rushing through the snowy January weather in Ohio, freezing our little buns off. Finding this amazing Greek Italian restaurant, having focaccia and chattering.
- The Matrix: Staying up as late as I could with CD, Puck, and MR so I could keep roleplaying in our Degrees of Separation RPG. Jean, orcs, Morpheus, Blaze.
- Avatar: Back-and-forthing with Rin, each of us carrying on a different storyline through dozens of comments.
- ReBoot: Hanging out at the MARTA station with Sharon and Melissa, waiting for the last train of the night to come. Worrying it wouldn't, and we'd have to find someplace to sleep in the Dragon*Con hotels.
