Summary: Loki doesn't have a taste for hospitals, but at least human courting rituals are amusing.
Author's Note: Written for the norsekink meme for the prompt: Odin decides to send both his boys down to Earth as punishment for igniting war with the Frost Giants.
Thor actually takes it slightly better than in the movie because he has Loki with him but poor Loki is just P.O. at being demoted to a mere mortal.
They fight about fitting in, getting back home, and Loki's suspicion that he might be a Frost Giant.
Your choice whether sex/romance between them occurs as they actually bond and grow closer together on this trip.

"Loki!" Thor pushes open the door in this odd house of healing. "Come on! We have to get back to the Bifrost site!"
"My clothes are missing," Loki informs his brother, not terribly pleased with the thin, faded rags he's wearing. They wouldn't even stop a butter-knife.
"So are mine, let's go!"
Leaving the house of healing, even in their distinctive uniform, is easier than Loki thought it would be. Thor tosses a grin at him, obviously assuming this is Loki's doing. He doesn't see a need to disabuse his brother of the notion, though his hands flex once again as he tries to call on some glimmer of magic.
He feels it, he almost has it-
Stepping outside is like stepping into Muspellheim. The heat hits like a hammer, sinking into his bones, and Loki just stands there blinking for a moment.
Thor hardly notices as he goes striding away, and isn't that the woman's wagon-
It backs into Thor, sending his brother sprawling, and Loki decides it must be.
"That looks like it hurt," he says, wandering over to take a better look.
"Your powers of observation are astounding," Thor growls.
"I'm sorry! I swear I'm not doing this on purpose!" the woman drops to her knees by his brother, and Loki sees the exact moment when his brother's brain notices that she is entirely lovely.
He almost wants to sigh, but mostly he wants to go back inside where it's cool.
