Long Feng put his head in his hands. "Of course she is."

Thanh shrugged, glanced over at the woman in question. "Fucking told you so."

The bounty hunter glared at them both, entirely annoyed at both the formal attire required of the Earth King's betrothed and by the reason Thanh was even in here. "Fucking is what got us into this mess. Who knew Earth Kings couldn't keep it in their pants better than any other man?" She laughed, then rounded on the Minister. "Don't tell me you're concerned about Kuei marrying his half-sister."

The flash of Long Feng's eyes suggested he was. Huh.

The man could still surprise the hell out of her sometimes. No wonder he'd pretty much over-ridden poor, silly Kuei.

"So we don't tell a fucking soul," Thanh said simply. "It isn't like we haven't done that shit before. I know you don't fucking like it, boy, but the Earth King needs an heir and she's the first woman he's shown any interest in marrying."

"He was bored by the concubines," Long Feng said coolly, while Jun grinned at the Minister being called 'boy' by anyone.

"Fine by me," she said, shrugging. "I like the kid."
