Minor AU Indexes (Indices?)
'Cause I keep spawning them, and I need some place to stash them. All stories listed in chronological order. Unless specified otherwise, all stories were written by me.
Thunder God and Rose'verse stories all have titles and summaries because I had already put those together. The other 'verses get content-descriptive links, because I kind of hate titling and summarizing things.
Thunder God
The Thunder God AU centers around a timeline where Azula snapped out of it one day and realized she wanted to save the world rather than destroy it. Unfortunately, when she tried to bring Zuko along, he went "Azula always lies" and put his own worries about the rightness of what his father was doing to rest. No longer indecisive about his destiny, Zuko became the son his father wanted.
Thunder God was first created here by suzukiblu, but then Pux and I ran with it because we're not the type to let good ideas die.

Rose'verse
"Azula is now my son, Zuko my daughter. Have fun, kids."
You may blame dark_puck for this AU, but mostly you should blame me, because I actually sat down and wrote it. Ozai decides to switch his kids' genders on a whim, and the kids don't fight sufficiently hard about it for him to bother with changing things back. Things get weird for Zuko and Azula as they live as the opposite gender.
Note: Neither character is treated as a true transsexual in this. It was forced on them from the outside, and neither of them react entirely healthily to it.

"The Avatar stopped Sozin soon after the War began and stopped the Genocide of Air Nomads. Azulon was raised in a semi-peaceful world and had his children. However, Ilah died soon after Ozai's birth and Azulon pretty much left the kid out where someone could find him. I think the twins (Lo and Li) left a note saying the boy's name was Ozai. A peasant woman finds him, raises him, until visiting Earth Kingdom types take a shining to him when Ozai's about 14. They kidnap him, sell him to Ba Sing Se's whore house and they force the name Xi on him. After a while he Fire Nation when he'd discovered by Lu Ten and well... when he finds out that he's not a bastard of Azulon, shit goes down." -- spyridona

Selkie'verse
A selkie is a Celtic faerie that lived as a seal but had the ability to take off their sealskins and appear as humans. If someone takes a selkie's skin and hides it, the selkie is bound to that person until they can find their skin.

Sokka listens to Katara on their fishing trip, and Aang never awakens. Bad luck and bad winters cut down the Southern Water Tribe, and the war does the rest. Those who can, leave for the North. Those who can't, die. In the end, only Sokka and Katara are left.
That's when Zuko finds them.
