I'm a headcase

I'm sure most of y'all knew that already. However, this isn't about that. (Yes, the title lies. It is like the back cover of a Harlequin category romance.)

I got called into work early today. This unexpectedly gave me a lunch after I had already eaten a hearty breakfast on the assumption that I'd be working my entire shift. By the time my lunch break rolled around, I was still content from breakfast, so I walked across the street to the mall to wander around.

This was probably a bad idea as I discovered the Teavana store had finally opened. One half-pound of loose leaf black tea and awesome new "brew a cup of loose leaf tea without making a horrible mess" device later, I wandered down to Hot Topic.

They had Iron Man t-shirts. Since collecting enough black t-shirts to not need to wash them for several months appears to be one of my life-goals, I got one. The music playing in the store sounded pretty good, so I asked the cashier what it was. Some band I have never heard of (if they are more modern than the 90s, don't play at Dragon*Con, and Seanan doesn't know them, I have never heard of any band), but hey, the cd we were listening to is only $10. Plus buying it gives me a wrist-strap guaranteeing that I get to meet the band if I show up on Saturday at the store.

So that's what I'll be doing on Saturday. (General experience with the music so far: not bad, though it could use less orcish yowling in the background. Not great, either.)
