I am mean, since this is from chapter three, and I don't plan to post a single chapter until I finish chapter eight. But I love this fic. SO MUCH.

"Aang," she called as she got closer, and he glanced over his shoulder at her.
He broke out in a smile and beckoned her forward. "Come see, Katara! We're almost around the Seal Guard!"
She blinked and looked ahead. Blue seas shone in the sunlight, dotted with white-blue islands of ice. At their left hand, the ship sailed alongside a massive piece of ice, the lower edges as blue as the sea and the upper edges blinding white in the sun. Katara could hardly look at it. "I don't see any guard, Aang..."
He laughed and pointed to their left. "That! It's where the harbor sealdillos nest in the spring, and it shields the harbor entrance from being easily found. You have to know exactly what to look for to find the way in."
Her heart felt heavy all of a sudden, as she thought of the Air Nomads sweeping down from above when Mama- "Aang, you know..."
"I know no one's probably there," Aang said, blue eyes not seeming so bright for an instant. "But we'll scatter and vanish when invaders come. So the city may be abandoned, but there'll be other villages and camps. We just have to find where they left the messages for any Water Tribesmen who were out of the city when it was abandoned. Then we'll know where everyone is."
