Oh my- now I have to try and remember DBZ and the fun bits- umm...

Prince Ozai, dying at Frieza's hands.

Dende- and Gohan-equivelents, playing?

Ozai throws everything he has at Frieza. He is not fast enough to land a blow. Every one of thousands of energy blasts, each carefully aimed at where the cold tyrant flies, misses. His greatest attack, an outpouring of the kind of ki he had never had before the fight on Earth, an attack that would have vaporized the world if it struck-

Frieza kicks it aside.

Ozai has nothing left.

He doesn't even try to dodge when Frieza launches himself up to attack.

*ouch*

Always did hate Frieza. He was just so smug about it.

Vegeta's death at Frieza's hands is one of the most brutal, vicious sequences in the entire series. *just rewatched it for research purposes* *whimpers*

Well, I have the DVDs so that's easy enough for me. Subtitles all the way, baby!

If you're okay with dubs, then you're looking for episodes seventy and seventy-one.

Sokka and On Ji, so not playing beckyh2112 January 13 2010, 23:51:07 UTC
Today has been the strangest, most frightening day of On Ji's life. First the strange aliens came to her village to demand the dragonball from the elder, then they killed everyone (oh Hide, oh Elder, oh spirits, everyone is dead, she is the only one left ( ... )

Near 'nuff. This is me grinning very widely, despite knowing the desperateness of the situation.

Five or six years down the line, after a death and resurrection, On Ji goes on to become the new Kami of Earth. 'Cause that's how she rolls. \o/

I always did love all the weird little connections in DBZ. <3

This is why it was my dirty little secret to come home after school and watch DBZ. For all the shouting and explosions and the two-episode-long buildup to a punch, the bits in between were soap-operatically addictive.

Heh. The episodes with Frieza in his final form were the worst for build-up. Stuff other than that, I find, actually moves. Though I still skip over a lot of the filler these days.

Can't wait for Mom to get home so we can get back to rewatching the Saiyan Saga. Vegeta and Nappa have finally arrived on Earth!

(And someday, season five will come in, and I'll get to watch the androids doing cool shit! 'Cause I love the androids.)
