I've discovered that seagulls fruit me out.
If you throw bread in the air, it will not come down. And they will hover hopefully over your head. They will follow you. Hovering. Sometimes they hover so closely they'll knock you with a wing. Sometimes they will try to grab the bread out of your hands.
Geese, meanwhile, are less scary now that they're not big enough to knock me over.
