First of all: attackfish's friend's girlfriend's house burned down. He (Cat) is offering commissions and using the money to help his girlfriend recoup her financial losses. More information can be found here.

Yesterday, one of our bank's big customers brought all the tellers bottles of wine. Sealed, of course, and they look to be very nice bottles. This was unexpected and awesome.
Today was my first day running a teller window on my own. Setting this up turned out to be exactly as painful as I expected it to be. To put it in perspective: I got there at 8:30. The branch opens at 9. I was not able to open my window until 10.
I much prefer yesterday's unexpected wine.
