It is time to balance my meme karma, since I've been abusing both

He's still a braggart, but he can back it up with guns and wings and flying like a demon. He's the best, or as best as it gets in this section of space, and he knows it. Not his fault if it torques people off that he's better than them.
Skywarp has gotten some spine in him, and the dark Seeker has a tendency to lurk unobstrusively. Thundercracker is all right with that - there's only room for one in the spotlight. Besides, sometimes Skywarp sees things that he doesn't. Sure, he's a paranoid and a touch prone to thinking the entire universe will kill him at a drop of rain.
There's really only so much a mech can do when he was designed to be afraid. He's stopped cringing in cowardice, though, and treats the entire universe with the same bland sense of 'I know you want to kill me, but I'm not going to let you.'
Thundercracker has gotten a handle on his own skills and gotten better with evaluating how other people compare to him. If he were honest, which he tries to be at least to himself, he would say Skywarp is the more dangerous of the two of them. Skywarp doesn't feel the need to show-off, and dead people are much less threatening than live ones.
Thundercracker, however, sees no reason to be honest to other people when he can just keep his mouth shut and direct their adoration and fear towards himself.
Besides, it's always good to have an ace up your sleeve.

I'm not sure about the meaning of this part - is it like as Skywarp stays more in the shadows he has the higher chances to survive than TC?
