Transformers Babbling

Saw the next three episodes of Transformers: Energon. Looks like I came in at the beginning of the series, which is quite nice. Still want to beat Ironhide until he stop being a twit. I also don't think I'll ever be able to handle the magical girl transformations these guys go through.

Met Cyclonus and Demolisher. Fell head over heels in love with the pair of them. Cyclonus's happy madness is just so much fun! And Demolisher trying to figure out if he should stick with the Autobot or rejoin the Decepticons was just so excellently done. It will be interesting to see whether or not he does turn.

A little weirded out by Kicker. What is up with him, seriously? He's apparently an energon detection system of some sort, but, well, that's a very weird thing for a human to be. I do find the whole 'going super-Saiyan' thing as a sign that energon is near nifty, though.

Picked up some Dreamwave comics at the local comicshop. Fun stuff, though I seriously wished I knew what was up with Sunstorm. Also, Dreamwave's G1 series could use some slightly less confusing scripting.

On the other hand, I also got some Armada comics. Oh, Lordy, but they're fun! The mini-cons get to talk! And they're quite interesting characters. Love Sparkplug, love the Air Defence team. I'd probably love the kids' mini-cons, too, but they haven't talked much.

Quite like the kids, too. They're cute.

And the villains! Whee! Decepticons always tend to make me squee, but these guys are even better than usual!

Of course, my opinion that they're better than usual probably comes from reading indigo-ink's awesome Armada series. Good, good stuff. And Cyclonus!

Although, whenever she mentions Wheeljack, I just can't help but think that he has G1 Wheeljack's face-mask and flashy ear-things. I need to find a good picture of him. Kind of hard, though, since finding any character bios for Armada is a bitch. Ah, well, I'm sure I'll find them eventually. Or he'll show up in the comics.
