Shiny!

Acquired my first Transformer figure today. He's from the Energon series: one of the neo-Constructicons. His name's Steamhammer and he turns into a mutant backhoe*. He's also apparently more of a spymaster than a construction worker. Very odd.

Also picked up a Boromir and another Lego Bionicle.

Am now browsing around the official Transformer's site and squeeing over what I want from the Energon'verse. The current list is:

- Depth Charge (CRB says he technically came back in Universe. Don't care, he's shiny as a toy.)
- Autobot Ratchet (Why is his faction part of his name?)
- Energon Strongarm
- Landquake
- Prowl
- Quickstrike
- Roadblock
- Rodimus (I'm sorry, but red autos with fire designs are sexy.)
- Cruellock (Look, it's a Dinobot rip-off!)

- Swoop (I like flying things, okay?)

- Dreadwing
- Galvatron
- Megatron (Okay, so he doesn't turn into a gun. He's still studly.)

- Sharkticon
- Shockblast (It's Shockwave. Sexy Shockwave. Oh, Lord, but he makes me feel faint.)
- Starscream

Plus, I'd like to pick up the other neo-Constructicons so I can assemble them into their gestalt-mode.

I'm leaning towards picking up a Bulkhead to do an Energon Effervescence kitbash. Effer is a helicopter, after all.

*Well, he would turn into a backhoe if I could figure out where this one arm went in his vehicle-mode.
