Probably not exactly what they had in mind...
As I was going through the mail that had accumulated on the table last week, I came across a piece of mail from one of my professional organizations, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) advertising the 2008 edition of their American Hospital Formulary Service (AHFS) Drug Information book. While this is a very useful tome, I have no need for a copy at home, so I was about to throw the envelope in the trash when something about the image on it caught my eye... The text on the open book shown was RIGHT justified and was in somewhat odd-spaced groupings. Further close examination appeared to show the text was HEBREW! I got osewalrus to take a look at it, and the best we can determine is that it is the Mussaf service for Succot. WOW! The advertisement said it was NEW and IMPROVED, but I think that adding the "compounding instructions" for the Temple sacrifices is going a little too far. I know the hospital pharmacy where I work does not routinely stock flour, oil, or wine, never mind sheep or cattle. For the curious, here's the image I scanned from the ad...
