Strawberry shortcake
The strawberry harvest has begun. I got about 5 cups of strawberries on Monday and made shortcake. No need for sugar in the berries or even for whipped cream on top -- delicious just as it was!
There are so many more strawberries ripening every day. So far the slugs don't seem to be a problem.
