Merry Christmas
First off I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope you all have a good one!
A lot of running around has been going on for me. Last week I made cookies practovally every night and when I wasn't doing that I was making Christmas cards. We had a big snow storm on Friday so we had to reschedule our office party to Monday. The party was nice. It would have been better on Friday. We all exchanged presents and I had the secret santa figured out for everyone. I got a watch, scrapbook set, and a game.
Sunday night the phone rang at 11:30 which is never a good sign to have somebody call that late. It was my aunt saying that my grandma was calling an ambulance for my grandpa. His blood sugar was low and he was all disoriented. Monday he had trouble walking. It looks as though he had a minor stroke. We were doing hospital runs after work to visit. After work today we were picking up grandma to take her to visit granpa when we get a call from her saying that grandpa could come home today. That was a great Christmas present. He's home and doing good. The minor stroke didn't effect anything and he can walk which is great.
Normally we do Christmas Eve at our house with both sides of the family but we cancelled it this year which totally broke tradition. My parents decided not to just because of all the running around and people weren't feeling good which I understand. My mom promised to make the traditional dinner of ziti still. My dad's side of the family was asking me how I was taking not having Christmas Eve since they say I can't accept change and I said I was fine. I can accept change. It's more of a tradition thing that I don't like to break but it's not like the world will end if it's broken. I did watch The Santa Clause tonight.
