Time flies when you're having fun. And when you're just too busy to let it pass slowly.
Two years ago today, Wayne and I got married. It's still hard to think that ONE year has passed, let alone two! But there you are!
I relish the strong relationship we have. The casual viewer would say we never fight. That, in and of itself, isn't true, even though I wouldn't call what happens between us fighting, really. We have a tendancy to, if one of us has issue with something the other one has done/is doing, just tell them and work it out early on, thus keeping it from festering and mouldering and turning into something that's actually worth fighting about. And at the end of every one, one of us always says, "If this is the worst thing we ever argue about, we're lucky." And nothing ever seems that bad.
It's only been two years, true, but that's also not counting the five years we were dating before that. It feels like it could go on forever. It's such a comfortable love, based in friendship. I've always said that I love that Wayne and I can turn off the romance and are capable of just being friends, treating each other like we do all the rest of our friends. If you don't have that friendship, you don't have anything, really.
Bah. Sentimental ramblings.
I love you, Wayne.
