I saw and heard something today that made me genuinely smile for the first time in a while.
I was on my way to my Italian class this afternoon, and since I was a bit early for once in my life I took the longer way through the building. I rounded a corner, and the first thing I saw almost made me laugh out loud. There was a guy sitting on the bench, playing his guitar, and I swear to you he could have been Alex Carpenter's twin. Same hair, same lightening bolt strap, even down to the same vest and shirt he wears for shows. It was almost creepy how much he looked like Alex, but it definitely made me smile. I had stopped when I turned the corner because seeing him had surprised me a bit, and he looked up and saw me standing there, smiled and said "Hey beautiful" and went back to playing. It was awesome. *fangirly sigh*
Today is loads better than yesterday was so far, although I'm still not in the best of moods. *shrugs* oh well.
