This Saturday I ran 8.5 miles! Psh, no problem. I felt like I could have run a few more miles! But lets not get too ahead of ourselves--increasing mileage too quickly can lead to injury... ;)
This week will mean a bigger challenge with another mileage increase. If all goes as planned, it should look like this:
Sunday: 3 miles (check!)
Monday: cross-training (I will probably do laps in the pool for 45 minutes or so--I'm a terrible swimmer, but I'm really enjoying it and look forward to it each week)
Tuesday: 6 miles
Wednesday: 3 miles
Thursday: 4 miles
Friday: Rest
Saturday: 9 miles
TOTAL: 25 miles
