Memoirs of a B-School Student #25: Recruiting
Still alive. Never worked harder in my life.
Recruiting is certainly a song and dance. I believe I'm doing all the right things--recruiters so far seem to be impressed by my Borders experience and I'm pretty good at schmoozing it up with them. I've been talking to alumni and current students about various companies and their experiences with them. I've been practicing for interviews and preparing for lots of different questions. I've been doing some research on the companies and industry. I've changed my mind several times about which company I'd most like to work for, but I can see that the whole process is built to help you find the best fit--both for you and for the company. So I'm hopeful that I'll not only find something at the end, but it'll be the right thing. It'll be a crazy ride, though--2 more months and it should start to slow down a bit. *huff puff*
