Er, life imitates art?

Today I was getting ready to plant some flowers and tomato plants on my balcony.  I pulled out my flower box from under my bike on the balcony and found inside of it, in a pile of old dirt, a dead bird.  EW.  The irony was that along with the bird in its grave was my garden stick-art that says "LIVE."

One died once underneath our air conditioner. It was just so SAD (on top of horrifying).
