The final lap
Agh!! Rush, rush rush..... 19 days until the wedding. 17 days left of teaching... have to cram all the knowledge in NOW! I'm getting excited. I'm trying to focus on Kat's wedding, since it's first- and it makes me less nervous. This weekend was the beginning of the 4 straight weeks of weddings. We had a good time. ALTHOUGH- the Marriot may pride themselves on their beds, but MY bed is f'ing amazing, and I hated leaving it. I could actually feel the mattress- poor me. :) Last night I slept so much better, it was unbelievably hard to get up this morning.
The kids had their First Communion on Saturday- they were so bad in mass and practice on Thursday, that I really was concerned, but they were angelic on Sat. Cute as buttons. I was a Eucharistic Minister, and it really was cool to watch them from that angle. I won't have to plan it next year, but I may volunteer to help the day of- it really was priceless.
Agh- wasting time- must go enter grades!!!
PS SO pumped about Sat!!! Working on making the house look nice, well, nicer anyways!! If you have an air mattress, sleeping bag, extra blankets, bean bag chair- bring them. We still don't have a couch yet- my mom's going to give us hers after the wedding guests leave, so Juneish.
Oh, forgot. Jake got on a friend's Vespa this weekend, and while getting off, started the moter, and ran into a tree. He has 10 stiches on his forehead, and the guy's asshole lawyer father wants $2000 by Tuesday. My mom said, oh, it'll be in your pictures! I said, not that serious- he's lucky he didn't kill himself!
