Oh My God. I never saw that coming... the idea that it wasn't a warning per say, but a message of hope.

younger, muscle bound and pompadour-wearing self

lmao, so true, yet so funny.

YAY! Thank you!

Yeah. Jack in Doctor Who just. Wow, Jack. Hair.

I know there was an actual reason for it (according to the commentaries JB hated it, but they needed the hair a certain length for the Moffat episodes and were filming those three all at the same time so he had to have that hair for "Boom Town") but still. Wowsa that's hair.

And I will never, ever get over the look on Jack's face as the TARDIS dematerialized on the game station. holy cow, that's acting.

That's *really* interesting to know - and I'm not surprised JB hated it. It doesn't look comfortable.

So much, so. It's this half laughing, half crying, desperate kind of disbelief all mixed up in love. I LOVE that moment.

John Barrowman gives great commentary in his DW episodes. He's on the commentary for 9/10/11 and 13. Very insightful, fascinating bits of trivia and behind the scenes info and just quite interesting to listen to. A lot of shows have commentary is winceworthy, but not S1 of DW

If you bought the 'Doctor Who' DVDs separately they weren't on them, but they were if you bought the whole season (I really don't understand that logic) but I haven't seen them online anywhere, sorry.

At first I was going to save money so I only bought the DVD with Empty Child/Doctor Dances on it and then realized there was no commentary :headdesk: So you have a video store/netflix/library or something you can rent from? I got season 2 of DW from those sorts of places so I didn't have to buy it

The commentary is very hit or miss. Some of the people are dreadful at it. I hope you manage to find it. John and Stephan Moffat are on at least one of the episodes together and that one is utterly facinating
