Subject: Closing the Loop

Dear Universe, as much as I love being out and about and being social and stuff... Can I please have a couple of days to re-charge my batteries and generally tie stuff up in a neat bow? I'm not asking for much - just a day or two at work where there are no demands on my time, bar finishing off projects that are nearly complete bar a few details.

Ditto, my personal life. Being social with family and friends has been awesome as has the London Film Fesitval, but I'd like a day to spend in a local cinema just catching up on movies before mini_nanowrimo eats my life;)

If you can do that I'd be most grateful.

Lots of love,

Your mate,

Beckymonster

Future attractions:

yuletide - I can has an assignment?! YES I CAN!
I always try to do something I've never tried before when it comes to this challenge and this year, it could very well be a doozy. I have to check both my recipient's letter and the canon to see if it's a goer but... I am hopeful and pleased with progress so far.

pacrimbigbang - well, the good news is, I have a first draft in the can. The bad news is that due to circumstances, I've decided to drop out. Which makes me feel like a heel but I have to be sensible about these things (which is a lot harder than it sounds...) and to put my sanity before 16,000 words of Hot!Dads pron. That's not to say that it won't be finished, it will, it's just it will be at my pace, not someone else's.

London Film Fesitval - yes, I have been watching ALL THE FILMS, so I shall be reporting back. So far, (I have one more to go) I've not seen anything that I would consider a waste of my time, which is good. I have seen a top five film of the year, one that will destroy Tumblr and two that were worth the hassle.
More details to follow.
