Does anyone know of/can give me a potted guide on the Whys and Wherefores of Facebook?
I asked the really dumb! question of 'Why Don't We Have A Facebook Page?' (on a tangent of getting user feedback on general and specific issues relating to our service)at Work today. I am of the opinion that if I press any further I may get *lumbered* with this... Or at least have to write a report on it which amounts to the same thing!
As much as I should know about Facebook/Twitter etc, I don't. I want to keep the personal (this!) and the professional (work and sundry other insanities) apart. I can see where it would come in handy (have a 'professional' presence on Facebook - keep the fannish on LJ. Also, keep in contact with la familie and friends) but as to how to make best use of it - Not Got A Clue!
