I wore my yellow dress....
For my fifth birthday my grandma asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted a yellow dress for the first day of kindergarten. She looked everywhere and couldnt find it. I said"Dont worry Grandma you'll find on sale." (Grandma was always about a sale and I knew it even at barely 5). She couldnt find one though so her and my mom went to Joann Fabrics bought a pattern and yellow fabric and on my first day of kindergarten I wore my yellow dress.
Years later before my 18th birthday my grandma saw an ad for a yellow dress on sale and told my mom she just had to get it for me for my birthday. So on my 18th birthday I recieved my second yellow dress. This yellow dress has been altered a little so it still fits me. Today I wore my yellow dress to the funeral. Yes I know it is a summery dress but I had to I had to say good bye to my grandma in my yellow dress.
My grandpa saw me and smiled and held me tight.
He knew....Grandma had found my yellow dress and here I was over 15 years later saying good bye to her in it....
