I love desserts that contain fruit. We have a wonderful plum tree in the garden and a real glut of plums we freeze every year. It's time to use them up to make space for Christmas so I decided to make a super-simple plum crumble, no recipe needed.
6oz plain flour
3oz butter
4oz granulated sugar
Portion of plums, halved and stoned, sprinkled with 3tbsp granulated sugar
01. Rub in the flour, butter and sugar until it resembles breadcrumbs.
02. Lay the plums in the base of a dish. Spoon over the crumble mixture.
03. Bake for 30 minutes at 160C fan.
Crumbles are just that simple! Great with custard.
