Day 2 - Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral

We joined a 1-day local tour which took us to those places. We got up bright and early at 6am to get to our pick-up location at the Hilton Euston, a 15-minute walk from our hotel, for 8am. The bus took us to Victoria Station, where we met up with other people going on the same tour. From there we boarded another bus bound for Bath, about 2 hours west of London.

We got there at about 11:30am. We started off with an audio-guided tour of the Roman Baths, which lasted about 45 minutes. Despite the dirty water, the history and architecture was quite fascinating.

Afterwards, we took a stroll around the city and grabbed a quick lunch at a sandwich shop. Bath's a beautiful city.

As we were leaving Bath, we were treated with this view from the bus, which was absolutely stunning!

Our next stop - Stonehenge. At the time I thought "it's just a bunch of rocks", but looking back, I think it's amazing how people managed to build that back in the day.

Sheep on the other side.

Our last stop - Salisbury Cathedral, which was absolutely gorgeous and we got to see the Magna Carta.

We walked around Salisbury for a bit before boarding the bus back to London. We got back around 7pm and grabbed dinner at O'Neill's, a pub near our hotel. We each ordered a half-pint of beer (I forgot what beer it was but it was surprisingly light and I managed to finish it) and I ordered some kind of fish for dinner. After dinner, we went to an internet cafe for an hour before calling it a night.
