As for this week and the 2nd Game for Good 'ol Texas Lakers...
Soooo this week has been pretty laid back, at all possible angles. I had a test on Wednesday, but besides that i really didn't have anything too important to be doing.
Wednesday night i went out to The Tap, for the Piano Bar,it was pretty cool. I hadn't ever been before, so i thought i'd see what it was like. I ran into a lot of people from work while i was there. It was a nice, kinda relaxed atmosphere compared to the usual.
As for Thursday night we had our second softball game, and the turn out wasn't too good. haha We didn't win, but i think we just need some practice, along with some actual umpires that know what "safe" and the term "out" are classified as. Maybe they need some glasses as well, heck who knows! Anyways the team we played had definantly practiced together or played together at that many times before that game. This next game we are going to have to show some improvement. We have come to the conclusion that we need to practice together in order to get better. (haha the obvious suggestion)Anywayssss yeah and our shirts will be in for the game, so we will have more of a team feeling as well. Overall The Texas Lakers are still badass! and don't worry we will redeem ourselves! :)
As for other things, Thursday night after the game i went out to The Tap for Spazmatics with JGar, Mattyk, and Thomas.It was fun, and interesting, the band played some old school songs, but they were def good songs. Good time~
Thennnnn lets see i worked from 2:30-10:15 last night. Then when i got off i went home and changed and headed over to Matt and Garza'a APT. We hung out there while they were smoking i want to say orange tobacco out of a hooka (spelling?). It smelled like cotton candy,but I sat out of that one~ Then we all headed over to Margarita Rocks for Salsa dancing with Garza, Matt, Bryan and another one of Garza's friends. Sorry i dont remember his name, but both of them were good salsa dancers and really nice guys! Soooo when we got there i was a little scared to try it, but i got out there and tried to pick up on it. Garza was dancing with all the girls haha. Then Bryan helped me get the rhythm for a couple songs, then Garza taught me some special turns haha and MAtt and i were trying to turn "the hall" type dancing into some sort of acceptable dance moves haha. It was all in all good fun, and i learned how to do a little salsa dancing. Well around 1:30 i started getting sleepy feeling, and the fun night came to an end. haha~
As for today i'm going to get some studying done, and make it a laid back easy going night~ If anyone would like to do something let me know :)
