harry is going crazy for this toy mouse i made him at school a couple months ago.
yesterday i got 4 kind of ice cream at the co-op and jen came over and we figured out a way to create the kind of community we want in our lives. it was the most productive hangout ever because for the first time probably in my life i'm excited for a stone soup meeting (except the time we had sent an email proposal to tear up the back lot and replace it with a forest garden and then we got to the meeting and everyone shot it down).
i find out on thursday if i get my yellow belt in the martial art i'm learning and i'm kind of nervous. i broke a fucking 1 inch thick board right in half, so if that were the only deciding factor i would get an A++.
our arcade in worcester closed and they auctioned off the dance machine that i love and everyone was pretty sad, but then two days ago julius miraculously found it and its only 15-20 minutes away in this pretty adorable town, and it is in a building that has indoor mini golf and also indoor race cars or something? we thought it was going to be across the country based on what people were saying.
a week from tomorrow cha cha and i are starting classes in aerial fabrics, which is like gymnastics in the air a la cirque du soleil. i am so excited. when i emailed about what to do to prepare the guy told me i should prepare to be sore for several days after class and work on pull ups
i am writing on livejournal because i have a thesis to finally finish after three years and i have to send a draft to laurie today or i'll probably put it off for another year. i read 300 pages in the last few days, which i have not done since i was in college, or maybe even while i was in college. the stupid thing is like 100 pages of crap and i don't even care, that part of my life is going to be finished.
