tipi holiday
cloudwalker_3 and i have just got back from our weekend away in the tipi and we had an absolutely *amazing* time! the tipi itself was wonderful, really cosy and lovely, the woman who runs the site was really helpful and the scenery around the place was absolutely beautiful.
on friday we pretty much just slumped, cooked some food (pasta & sauce with creamed rice for pud) and got the fire going. on saturday we walked up a big hill on the site and had a great view across the valley, then walked down into the village & went to the tea rooms for lunch. back up to the tipi for some chill out time and a little snooze, then back down to the village pub for a really good meal. the weather was pretty good all weekend, although predictably all of yesterday's clouds and mist had cleared by this morning, just in time for us to go home!
we enjoyed ourselves so much, that we thought for next year we'd try and get some friends together and go there again. there's information about the place we went to here and cloudwalker_3 should have some more pics of the site up on his flickr page in the next few days. so - are you interested? have left this entry public so that friends of M's who aren't on my f-list can vote too.
