Well, it's not as if anyone reads this, but oh well.
I'm so glad it's wednesday evening, we are now on the downhill slide to the weekend. I've been feeling pretty crap lately, pretty much due to lack of sleep, which stems from my unwanted drunken visitor I posted about previously. Oh well. Being home alone will be over soon enough.
I wrote my first fanfic story (proper story) on one of my community friends pages, asking for constructive criticism. So the first comment I get is 'This is bad'. Cheers, buddy, whoever you were. I'm not sure cos I deleted my post, before deciding, bugger it, I'll post it again slightly edited. So I put constructive in bold underlined letters, and removed a slightly cheesy line (lol!) and hopefully people will actually provide criticism that is constructive, not dimwitted.
I'm starting to wonder if my work mates assumption that only weirdos take the bus is true. Since I have started taking it to work I have noticed some of the following:
- A guy who carries around a small radio at the main bus exchange, making what seem to be angry bumblebee noises along to the music.
- A random guy rocking out to nothing in particular at another main bus stop.
- An angry South African guy who blamed the bus driver for his missing the bus, only to realise he was on the wrong bus entirely.
- An old lady who seems to wear every piece of clothing she owns, all at once.
I suppose it makes the bus a real experience. Seeing all sorts of different people, you aren't sequestered within the confines of your car, is actually quite entertaining. Plus I'm not spending $70 or so filling up my car everyweek, having such a big commute.
Anyways, that's my thoughts for today, and in the words of comic book guy (The Simpsons) toodle oo!
