This week has been a bit insane. Here's how it started.
Setting: 6:15 a.m. on Sunday
[phone rings, it's my sister wanting to be picked up from the band trip]
Me: [stumbling out of bed] Go back to bed mom, I'll go get her...
Mom: Ok, that's fine. Thanks.
[Mom goes into the bathroom]
Me: Hurry up, I gotta go pee.
Mom: Ok, just a minute.
[a minute or so passes]
Me: I'm just gonna go in my pajamas. [I meant to school...]
Mom: Oh no, honey... please go in the toilet.
And thus starteth the downward spiral.
Here's how my week has looked:
Monday evening I remembered that I had approximately 48 hours in which to complete a semester-long college course, start to finish, including tests, lecture time, and a research paper.
Tuesday was largely unproductive. Sometime during the course of the day I realized that it feels like years since I have touched a disc, much less played a real game of ultimate. Gosh, I miss it. Aside from that, I took two tests and then went on a picnic and then stayed out into the wee hours of the morning. Cool.
Wednesday was upsetting. Why, you ask? Well, here's the thing... Melinda got kicked off American Idol. Yeah, you heard me right. Um, so then sometime around 10 at night I decided I should stop mourning and start writing my research paper that was due that day. Surprisingly, it was not as painful as I expected. The subject matter was actually quite interesting.
Today was odd. A bit surreal. I fall in love with Rosie O'Donnell a little bit more each time I watch The View. And crazy Republicans piss me off more, too. Choir concert at Crown was painfully and yet comfortingly predictable. LOVE IT... although sometimes I wonder why I wasted so much of my life on that. Then I stood backstage and talked with old friends for a good 40 minutes before making my final historical attempt to pretend that I like Minger. It was grand, but probably unsuccessful. And the Mister does exist, I saw him with my own two eyes. It was unreal.
In conclusion, the Manor should be open later on weeknights. Much later.
I'm so glad that all made sense and that I'm so intelligent and coherent.
And thus endeth the recap of my ridiculous week up to this point.
I should go get some friends and not be so lame.
Call me, fools.
